Useless

Useless app, with cumbersome sreens

Delightfully simple

Beautiful and to the point. Just what I want in a weather app!

Very Accurate

Great App, live the UX and the precision that it seems to bring compared to Yahoo Weather.

Inaccurate, cumbersome

If two items are fixed, Ill give it a 5: a) make it auto-detect location, and b) fix accuracy (I normally use another app that also pulls data from forecast.io, and this app gives entirely different information). Its just to broken to recommend at this point.

Pretty, but inaccurate.

Says rain, but its sunny and clear.

Approximate

Because it skips probabilities, it can be misleading. No "50 percent chance" feature, so inevitably wrong half the time - or whatever the other percentage is. Pleasant layout, convenient at a glance if you take it with a grain of salt. As I write, however, it isnt functioning.

Alert: app under repair

sporadic server outages affecting app. Hopefully theyll have it repaired soon.

MOSTLY PERFECT

As a predictor of precipitation and cloud cover it is amazingly accurate. Temperature prediction can be off a few degrees, but that could be that I am a distance away from the town. The diurnal range (difference between high and lowest temp) indicated by the length of the vertical bars, is always right on.

Light saber

Its amazing to me all we have achieved. And we still cant predict the weather. MIT and Harvard students have successfully created a real working light saber. And no one can tell me if its going to rain tomorrow with any sort of accuracy. Expecting more.

Terribly inaccurate, over and over again

Says heavy rain when its only cloudy. Says rain when there is not a cloud in the sky. The apps layout is very pretty and I want very much for this app to be my go to. However, I keep re-downloading it every new update and then deleting it all the same. whatever they use for their information is horrible. Im truly sorry because the app is attractive, but not worth any money.

Good but could be better

I like the clean interface and its been accurate so far. Just a few additional features would make it great-feels like temp, windchill. I live on the east coast and these 2 details really help during the long winter..

Aesthetics above all else

Its a lovely, minimal weather app, but certainly not the quickest way to check the weather. The breadth of data leaves a lot to be desired, and I find that I have to remember what to do in order to check the hourly forecast. Id rather see more data at once.

not that great

application is ok. what is annoying is that randomly it resets itself and goes through the introduction and looses all the settings

My Favorite Weather App

It provides an easy-to-comprehend, quick view of today’s weather, along with the same view for tomorrow. Then you get a 7-day forecast without extra details that would create clutter. If you want an app to give you dew points and all the weather nerd data, use the Weather Underground app (which I also use). But WeatherTron is very good at being that fast, go-to app for checking in on current conditions and the forecast. Because of the visual layout, I basically have an idea of the entire day at a glance, including precipitation chances, cloud cover, and temperature. I open this app probably 4-5 times a day, almost obsessively. :) And after reading the reviews here, I can say that I’ve seen no accuracy problems with it.

Accurate and simple

The most accurate weather data I have encountered presented in a simple and elegant way. It can use an update for managing locations. Also needs the be updated for iPhone 6 and plus. Updates have slowed unfortunately.

Passable

If you could get the training pages to go away, the product would be ok. Every time you open the app, it tells you how to use the app, again snd again

Could be better

iPad user. Open up the app and it takes me thru the help routine. I have to tap the screen a bunch of times to finally get to the main screen. Then there is no default city but you have to tap current location. Then wait while it searches. Then you are finally able to see your weather. Not worth opening as a lot easier with other weather apps.

Graph is all screwed up

The one thing this app has going for it is vizualization, but on my phone the graph doesnt even look right (it zig-sags across the frame). Plus, this doesnt appear to be optimized for iPhone 6.

Overpriced, hard to navigate weather app

I never felt comfortable with what my next tap would do, which is quite an achievement for an app that is just showing me the weather.
